Mr. ZHENG LIANG ( Director & Attorney-at-Law )
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Mr. ZHENG Liang serves as Director of Horizon Law Firm, Lead Mediator/Supervisor of Shanghai Yangpu Concord Civil & Commercial Mediation Center, and Director of Shanghai Pudong Huafu Social Service Center. He holds directorships at Singapore-based Hola Claim Service Pte Ltd and serves as Senior Counsel at Princes Chambers (New Zealand). Mr. Zheng is also an appointed arbitrator with multiple arbitration institutions.
Agraduate of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (LL.M., International Law), Mr. Zheng specializes in trade, shipping, and insurance legal practice with extensive cross-border expertise. He possesses significant experience in New Zealand-related corporate, trade, and investment matters, including cross-border M&Atransactions involving dairy, energy, and nutraceutical enterprises.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Zheng had held key positions at several leading property insurance companies in China, managing claims, legal affairs, shipping divisions, and regional operations. His insurance industry insights encompass both theoretical knowledge and practical application across P&Cinsurance and maritime law. Current clients include major mainland Chinese insurers and some shipping enterprises.
Prior to joining Horizon Law Firm, Mr. ZHENG Liang served as a long-term equity partner at Shanghai Rolmax Law Firm.
